When I was fishing the upper Delaware last year (Calicoon NY) we caught a number of Shad on spinners. Panther Martin all Gold.

My favorite color Shad spoon is one of yours

Blue spoons are the best. Blue is awesome.

Just kidding. That's a color I didn't see in your box. I like orange.

Thumbs up Re: Favorite color shad spoon

I went with the large darts for local fishing, you can really haul off with the bigger ones and the shad eat 'em just fine. I was using chartruse, a local guy said he uses all gold. I went with the darts for fishing off the bank, I know the spoons work great.

When I was herring fishing in the inlet, I was catching Shad on the Saboki rigs, at least I think they were shad, about 15-18 inches maybe, guy next to me said they were shad.
So I am wondering, any of you use sabukis for shad in the rivers?
