Fishing for a guy that is sick is way different then keeping over your limit.. Jay picked up some extra fish for people who are green in the cabin.. That was the nice thing to do..

I was asking cause Gotcha thinks Jay poached, which I would not categorize what he did as poaching. I know since you are a mate that you would have an opinion about what happens on Papa's Angles or other boats that you work on when fares catch captains/mates share of the catch. Me I don't believe it is poaching...but just wanted to hear from someone that works on the boats.
Also when F/G count each individual anglers catch do they take into account the fish that could have come from the crews #'s? For argument sake we will say there are 10 fares on the boat and 2 mates and a captain. Boat limit to me would be 10 fares x 15 cbass per fare plus 15 cbass a piece for each mate and the captain. Just like on a 6pack charter during fluke season. A lot of charters will allow the fares to keep the captains and mates share of the fluke. Does this thinking go into effect when they are writing tickets? I'm not being a smart ass either this is a serious question.
