GAMBLER --Great Bluefish Action with Accurate Reels

We had a great crack at big blues right out of the gate this morning. The choppers were right on the surface and grabbed any lure cast to them.

By 9AM, I asked the guys if they wanted to take a ride in search of stripers and got a unanimous yes. We snagged bunkers and drifted them live for a couple hours but had no bites. So we went back to the tackle busting bluefish and were not disappointed. The big blues were terrorizing rain-fish and small herring on the surface. Accurate's reels got a true test and I can say that the reels and rods live up to their name sake.

Tomorrow will be our last day trip till the fall for blues and bass and it sounds like the nicest day of the year so far. Come on out!

The Gambler will start 1/2 day fishing for fluke on Saturday, everyday except Monday the 23rd.
