It's not politicians as much as the special interest groups and their paid lapdogs, the lobbyists.

Signed and shared.

"It's not politicians as much as the special interest groups and their paid lapdogs, the lobbyists."

WHAT?????? The federal government is considering a ban on recreational fishing. I assure you special interest groups, lapdogs and lobbyist do not write laws. They just influence and give money to the corrupt politicians. This happened in California where there are large sections of the coast closed to fishing. Now New England and soon NY and NJ. Why???? Because these areas of the country have a large concentration of liberal left wing progressive libtards that elect liberal democrats that want to see the recreation fisherman go the way of the dodo bird. WAKE UP FISHERMAN and stop electing liberal democrats. I'm not much of a fan of Republicans but they are simply the lesser of two evils. Try and find a conservative who is also a member of PETA. They sit right next to the flying unicorns!

This is a prime case of how special interest groups are lobbying for the elimination of sport fishing in many areas ! Unlike our sport fishing groups that never have enough money donated to their fight to preserve our fishing rights they get plenty !
So if u don't donate or take part in contacting your congressman on all issues U very well could be selling your fishing equipment , to who I don't have a clue!
In fact tonite I believe there is a very important meeting concern tog fishing regs, I'm out of town so,I Cannot be there but I'll bet it's half empty !
Pretty soon u will not have to,attend these meetings on fishery regs , since there will not be any season to worry about !
It's really an expierance to attend one of these meetings , I've been at some that the officials, outnumbered the attendees & u wonder why our seasons our all screwed up , No strong opposition
