![]() My dad's fishing days are pretty much over so he gave me a big box of of his saltwater tackle. In the box were 10 new Rat l Traps in various colors, all big, 1 oz. I stuffed all I could into my SW tackle box but had 3 left over. I use smaller Rat L Traps for bass and trout but wondered if the big ones would be good for pike. Anybody here use these for pike with any degree of success?

![]() They'll work but at 1 oz it'd be tough to use them in shallow and/or weedy watersheds. You'd really have to rip em' good.

![]() X2 on what Jigman said. Pike love them but instead of making river donations, i'd only use them in lakes or spacious eddies.
