Roosters Flukin 8-29
North East winds up to 20K, we knew there would be no ocean voyage this morning, as Tom and I made our way to Flynn's Knoll to find our favorite flatfish. We were joined by the Atlantic Highlands party boat fleet as we were tossed about in very poor conditions.
Doggies, Sea Robins, Skates, Cownose Rays along with short Croakers were the main catch. When the tide changed to incoming a large Fluke grabbed my robin strip and the fight was on as Tom missed with the net twice as the fish sounded when she saw the net, the third try was a success as my personal beast Fluke of the season came aboard taping out at 27". Back in about noon after landing two more keepers.
