Normak3 Fluke Report 5/26/13
The morning trip was a bit slow. Fishing was tough with the gusts of wind and fast drift. Only a few keepers caught this morning. The afternoon trip was a whole different story. Capt. Matt headed north this afternoon. Every drift made, nice size keeper fluke came on board. Apprx. thirty-five fares on board for the afternoon trip and 15 or so keeper fluke caught with many shorts mixed in. A lot of action this afternoon. Water temps were in the lower 50's. Even with low temps, the fluke were hungry and biting. I managed to catch a couple myself. Once the wind died down it was a beautiful afternoon on the ocean. Tomorrow's forecast calls for warm temps and sunny skies. And with two trips to choose from, you can do the 8am-12:30pm if your a morning person or the 2pm-6:30pm trip if ya wanna sleep in alittle longer like myself. Either way, fluking is started to heat up and will only get better from here. THE JERSEY SHORE IS OPEN!!!! COME ON DOWN!!!!
