No nothing about those two counties. But if your willing to travel Spruce Run, Round Valley, Lake Hopatcong, Cranberry Lake, Lake Musconetcong, Newark Water Shed. Check the fish and game website.

I recommend you go to Bait and Boat Sport Shop on Lake Muscanetcong. They are located in Netcong (Rte. 183) rear of the old Hess station right on the lake. You can rent a row boat or motor boat from them for either a half or whole day. They sell all kinds of minnows, worms, and are the biggest bait supplier in the state. They open 5:30 am. Lake "Musky" is loaded with fish. Especially bass, pickerel, crappy, and big bluegills. I've also caught big channel catfish there. It's stock with trout. The shop is 1/2 mile north off Rte. 80 or Rte 46. Good luck and welcome to the site.

Fish the Passaic!!! Smallmouth, largemouth, pike, catfish, perch, and crappie. The smallmouth and pike fishery is amazing.

Grunt,

I just fished the Saddle River at Dunkerhook (Saddle River Park). Lots of carp and trout sitting at the top of the falls, but are tempermental. Would not take anything.

I would try going further north on the river, closer to the NY/NJ state line and in the mountains. I'll be trying that next.

Passaic river. I've been catching some nice Smallmouths and other guys are catching Northern Pike. For some of the "urban" spots like under the Parkway I take a bat with me just in case. I see that's there's some lakes up in Bergen but not sure which one's you can or can't fish on. What about the Hudson River? And there's a lot of lakes a little bit to the West.

I bought a book a few years ago- New Jersey Lake Survey Fishing Maps Guide- it lists a number of lakes throughout the state with contour maps, some note shore and/or boat access in 'quick tips' writeups. County is shown on the specific lake page. Hard book to find, not sure what latest edition is (mine is 2000), but I use it a lot. I fish from kayak now, live in Essex county. Good luck.
