Default Bass Spawn?

has anyone seen any fish on beds yet? i was just talking to a friend who fishes another lake in Bucks and he said he has not seen any bedding yet either, while he is not exactly kevin VanDam he said he "saw" no fish along the shoreline and a blind man can spot them when they are bedding. just seems really late to me

I've seen them on beds. Depending on water temp and oxygen levels, fish in different lakes will spawn at different times. Also, not all bass will spawn at the same time, and you will actually find spawning, post-spawn and pre-spawn fish this time of year. I think that some bass may have actually spawned already. The murky water also doesn't help much and can make spotting a bed VERY difficult. Last Saturday, my friend and I couldn't see the 4 and 5 lb. fish that were visible on their beds just days earlier. There are probably bass spawing in most lakes right now, but some of them might just be tough to see with the low light and murky water.

honestly more then anything i was just worried no fish spawning means no fish in the future. my normal lakes been really really low compared to the last 2 springs maybe they are bedding in a little deeper water?
