Called the hot-line and checked the web page, no mention of suspending trout stocking. I guess we will have more sea run trout than expected.

Just checked the stocking site, the following areas were not stocked Monday:
Hackensack River
Rockaway River
Passaic River
Russia Brook

The NJDEP Division of Fish and Wildlife has announced the postponement of today's trout stocking in four waters due to extremely high water levels after weekend rains.

The waters are the following:
Hackensack River (Bergen County)
Rockaway River (Morris County)
Passaic River (Morris, Somerset and Union counties)
Russia Brook (Morris County)

Fish allocated for those waters will be stocked as soon as conditions permit - information will be posted at http://www.njfishandwildlife.com/trtstk11.htm#updates when available.
