GAMBLER --Fluke and Sea Bass Report
Good catch of sea bass today!
We started in close to the beach, made a few drifts for fluke but the water is still cold and they did not bite too good. Moved off the beach into 56ft and had steady sea bass action. Yesterday was similar but we caught more sea bass on the drift than anchored. Our plan, for the next few weeks is to start the mornings for fluke and switch over at some point to sea bass. Once the water gets a little warmer, we should be able to catch both sea bass and fluke on the same drifts. Last couple days were beautiful weather with some great customers. Tomorrow is cancelled due to a lack of sign-ups --probably due to rain forecast. Friday, Saturday and Sunday look good. Don't miss it!
