5/22 few casts at Haddon Lake...carps a plenty

Seeing as most of the recent freshwater reports are up north, thought I'd share this if anyone's in south jersey.

Went for a walk with my wife and son around the lake and brought the trout rod to see if there are any left from the pre-season stocking. No takers on the roostertail for me but saw at least 3 or 4 larger carp swimming around on the surface. Grabbed a few pics so may be heading back sometime soon.

Water was pretty clear and loads of sunnies if you wanna bring the kids.

Thanks for the report man. Those Carp are feeding really good right now. Get your can of corn ready. Lol! They rip some serious drag!

I saw some carp mating in a lake Monday, some serious splashing going on. Im not sure how well they bite when spawning
