cold but worth it
hit the cong at 5:30am saturday morning and was greeted with 28 degree temps
and a wind chill to boot.was not expecting much but needed to get out.took awhile to get them figured out but once i did it was ok fishing.picked and plucked crappie, white perch, gills and shinners till 9am then packed it up.the only bad thing was i had to dip the rod in the lake after every third cast to get the ice out of the eyelets.sunday was the same but with a little better conditions.everything was released.stay safe |
