![]() Since leaving Lake George for the first time earlier this month, I knew I had to get back up there one more time before ice out. The rest of the original crew felt the same way. We all met up Friday night at the same place and hit it hard at first light on Saturday and Sunday. The action was slower than last trip but the fish we did catch were quality. Our buddy got into his first iced lakers this weekend and I believe ended up being high hook. Chrisper got into some cool catches that I hope he will share in this post. Here's a few pics from my shelter. The one laker was a little acrobatic for the picture and bananas have similar effects on ice as they do on boats

![]() who brings a damn banana ice fishing hahaha! i hope you tipped your jigs with the peel!
Like scott said the laker jigging was kind of slow so i set up some homemade jawjacker traps that i hoped blocked off the land locked salmon traveling route...took about all day but we intercepted them and the rig popped them perfectly! ended up breaking my PB twice with a 21 3/4" and a 24" I later caught something other than a fish...a flying tungsten jig in the finger as fonzi's fish spit it at the hole. all good though cause you don't need your pinky to put the death grip on! we landed that fish and i'm pretty sure it was his PB (don't have the picture though at the moment) He landed it on ultralight which is pretty awesome and the jig hook was mangled, but we're not sure if that was from the fish or it ripping through my finger hahaha. great times as usual...now back to your regularly scheduled open water programing...oh and "LIQUID WATER FISH DON'T COUNT!" ![]() ![]() ![]()

![]() Awesome job guys, beautiful pics and great report. Love the size of those landlocked salmon, just a beautiful fish. Scenery doesn't get much more beautiful, sounds like a great way to end the ice fishing season.
