WATER PROOF Blackfish Finale and Striper Opener

On Monday April 30 we fished our last day of spring Blackfish season with a great open boat crew. We started off with a pick of keepers and shorts and had life on most drops. The last drop of the day was the best, with bigger fish chewing hard. We finished out our day with a 6 man limit PLUS with lots of 5-8lb fish and the largest right around 10lbs.

Today we ran our first Striper trip of the spring and found good readings of fish. We had to work for bites but got our limit and got back to dock early with John B and crew ..

We will be Striper fishing all month and will also be running Sea Bass trips once it opens May 15. A note on our Sea Bass trips .. we sail out of Point Pleasant and will be running to the 15-30 mile wrecks for better quality fish. We currently have OPEN BOAT Sea Bass trips scheduled for May 17 and 31 and there are spots available. We also have a few more dates in May for Striper or Sea Bass .. full day charter or Open boat
