Default Checked another off the list
Had great weather this week after work so I have been hitting a local spot. Been doing well with the bass, crappie, sunnies and even a few trout. Had a treat yesterday and got this beauty. Was not sure what it is. Texted a friend and he helped me ID it, palomino. Just glad I landed it for the pics. Released to fight another day.

Congrats man! The Golden’s are cool looking! Kinda trippy to see swimming around. Wish I could keep one as a pet! Lol!

i finally looked into this and apparently: a 'golden trout' is an actual separate species of trout found in california...a 'golden rainbow trout' and 'palomino' trout are the same thing and just a pigment variation of a 'rainbow trout', same species.
