Default Pb Tuna Time=tropical Storms

As time approaches for our PB tuna trips to start, here come the storms-in ernest...Kirk is gone, never was a threat...now Leslie is headed deadon for Bermuda...not much now,but........... and another low east of her with potential....yea, I know, we go through this every year, BUT.......

Nothing new here, very simple scenario that I've followed since PB tuna fishing in the sixties !
You fish in between storms , always plenty of breaks in weather to get offshore, unless something really unusual occurs!
One thing is to try
not go immediaty after storm, never know may not even get one in our region.

Very true capt. but I hate to have even one trip blown out...but every year at least one does.....

feel the same way.
As a matter of fact, I'm supposed to be on Voyager this Sat, but not so certain if they'll be able to sail..

SAT
S WINDS INCREASING TO 10 TO 15 KT. SEAS 5 TO 8 FT WITH SE
SWELL.

SUN
S WINDS 10 TO 20 KT SHIFTING TO NW LATE. SEAS BUILDING TO
8 TO 12 FT WITH SE SWELL...HIGHEST SE.

Yoy probably will sail; their sitesays generally sailing with winds up to 25kt and they'll not be stacked, maybe, which makes it easier...regardless, tuna bite well in "bumpy" water...we had an excellent trip with true 15'ers and 25kt...a bit rough, but the fish on the line helped steady us...night bite and ended up with 7 lines in-everyone else was in the cabin with "mal-de-mare" so it goes.....
