mixed bag weekend

I spent the weekend fishing the big pond we fondly know as the cong. I was pre scouting spots for the KDC walleye contest next weekend. I hit three spots that i get waldos at and found 2 perch, one 14" walleye and 2 decent size rock bass all were caught on a 1/8 oz fin-s shad jig. went to spot #2 and got 2 more perch then it was on to the third spot and there is where i got a smallmouth at 12", a slime dart that was 17" a 14" crappie and three more walleyes, a 15",19",and 21" i got the 21" fish on a rattlin rouge stickbait in black and orange. Then i went back on sunday fished three different spots and got three slime darts 4 perch one that was 12" two tiny rock bass, a decent largemouth, a small crappie, a really small smallmouth, my first hybrid of the season that was 16" and ended the day with a 24 1/2" 6lb5oz walleye not to bad hope to keep the catching going for next weekend. Most of the fish i got on the jig but the hybrid i got on a swimin image and the bigger walleye i got on a spitin image topwater lure. also i realized that i accomplished a bass grand slam on sunday, not big fish by any means but still a grand slam.
