Greenwood Lake Public Boat Launches/Council Meeting
Hey Everyone,
Hope you are all ok/healthy. Just a reminder that tomorrow, August 10, the NJ Fish and Game Council will meet at 10 am: Tuesday, August 10 - Attend Via GoToMeeting using computer, tablet or smartphone. To attend via dial-up using your phone: 312-757-3121 (Toll Free) Access Code: 848-342-077 GoToMeeting Connection Guide (pdf, 180kb) Agenda (pdf, 117kb) It is vitally important that YOU let your thoughts be known regarding Public Boat Launches/Access to Greenwood Lake. Many attend the meeting but do not speak. It is vitally important to let your thoughts, support, input, be known. We ARE headed in the right direction but MUST continue to push forward and keep this issue in the public eye. Last month, meeting went from about 10 am -12:30 pm with public comment towards the end of the meeting. Be courteous, respectful, and voice your opinions, concerns, etc. You have 3 minutes. Thank them for their support on this issue and express your support for proposed Public Boat Launches on Greenwood Lake. This is the only way this means of public access will come to fruition. The Greenwood Lake Commission convenes at the end of this month. Very important to try to physically be there....more information to follow as we get closer. Thank you all for your continuing support, help, and input. If you can, try to attend tomorrow's F&G Council meeting and contribute input if you wish to have public access on Greenwood Lake. This is the only way we can make this become reality such that ALL the PUBLIC can enjoy the lake. Keep you posted. UFANJ |

Re: Greenwood Lake Public Boat Launches/Council Meeting
Capt. Dave,
Your efforts and persistence are inspiring. Tremendous effort which seems to have gained good traction. No easy task by any means. You're right, we need to be vigilant now more than ever to prevent something coming out of left field and derailing what you've accomplished. On behalf of many, thanks for your work here in trying to maintain the general public access to a public resource. Thanks, Dakota Last edited by dakota560; 08-09-2021 at 07:21 PM.. |
