Default Bucketmouths and pike

Hit the lake the last couple days, action is picking up!

Today got a 4.3# and bunch of others. guy got a nice lil pike on a bass grub!

I was throwing a big inline white blue fox spinner and got NAILED by a masive pike at the boat. All i saw was his mouth with my spinner in it. next thing i know.....i got a face full of braid and down to the bottom he went. Daym!
literally my face was
the 1 time i dont have my leader on.
got some other smaller bass too. goin campin saturday at SW gona try for some eyes at the walls.

Feesh on !

Nice catch Birdman and company! Only healthy fish lurk in that body of water. Pike should be coming off the spawn now. Get that 62 incher that's in there!!! Nice looking Pike!!!

Man do I miss Pines Lake . Nice work guys!

I hate to say it, but its actually nice to see a Pike that isn't 40"+ come out of there. We had so many big, old ones through the ice but seeing a younger one is promising.

Has anyone ever heard a rumor that the state record pike really came out of pines lake and not pompton lake? Because that's what someone told me. The

Thanks bros!! We have been takin good care of Mr. Toothy since hardwater
Yea we see a good amount of pike under 30" which is a good sign
Still lookin for the hybrids !
We have actually been catching a good amount of smallmouth out of the lake too
We will find the 62incher!
The state record is def outa pompton. On PL you are not allowed to "take gamefish" so if you were to get a record i dont know how u would get it certified.

Nice to see that security in the lake is still heavily enforced. One guy out there was tellin us to "keep the russians out" lol

Good stuff!
