Ramapo Report 4/28
Read Brewluggers report earlier so decided to hit the Ramapo for the late afternoon.
Water was up but only slightly stained, started slow but kept moving down river and as the current lessened the bite picked up. At the end of the one stretch got into em good, lots of cookie cutters but also a 14 and 16 in the mix. Good bite on worms today, picked the other night with my daughter Also a few on pink salmon eggs and powerbait. To top off the trip made a few more casts on the way out and connected with a sweet bow in the 18 inch range. Funny I think it was the same fish I released last week, same spot, released again It was chilly out there and had the heat on in the car on the way home, great to be out! Nice Bows, I've spent a couple hours on the Po this year. All I keep getting are monster fallfish. haha
