Etra Lake Channels

Caught a pair of small (13-15") channels tonight and had at least a half dozen (or more) steal my bait - Had a mishap a week or so ago leaving the assunpink creek access area on 130, where the back hatch of my suburu popped open as got on the highway and my tackle backpack fell out, which I had not zippered the main compartment - needless to say quite a bit of gear got crushed by cars and what i didn't remember to checK for tonight was the mesh i use with chicken livers to keep them on the hook survived.

I really need to start keeping the panfish I catch and freezing them for cut bait.

Sorry about your mishap, not good ! Any eels in there, they steal bait really well also.
