Miss Belmar - Friday afternoon & Saturday morning report

Friday afternoon, on our Family Fun Day afternoon trip, we fished out east of our inlet and caught some short fluke and short sea bass. The wind continued to pick up so we had to finish in the river where we caught a few more short fluke.

Saturday morning, we continued to fish north of our inlet. Fishing was slower than it has been. We read fish real well at times and at best, we were able to pick on a few drifts, and others we caught a handful of fish. The fish are still around, they just did not want to cooperate too well today. Once again, we used ava 27’s, 47’s, both plain and tailed, along with crocodiles.

Sailing daily for stripers and blues from 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and every Saturday night from 7:30 p.m. – 2:30 a.m.
