Miss Belmar - THURSDAY MONSTER BLUES!

Yesterday, we fished out east in the mud hole and the conditions were terrible. We read fish good and picked away. Some patrons caught fish good and some didn’t. Overall, it was ok.

Today, we continued to fish out east along the edge of the mud hole. The conditions were still bad, however, fishing was much better today. We had excellent readings, though it took a little while to get them hopping. We picked in the morning and by mid day, we held 2-4 on with shots up to 6 on at times. The best action was on bait with jigs working towards the end of the day. We caught MONSTER BLUES ranging anywhere from 12-19 lbs. We have been the only boat out of Belmar the past couple of days fishing for blues and hopefully they will stay here for a while. With the amount of fish we are reading out at sea, it looks like we will continue catching monster blues in this beautiful weather! Below are pictures from yesterday and today.
