Be Safe out there and clean up after yourselves
April has been fairly busy for me and haven't had a chance to get out there. First time was last night and also first time with new boots. Besides the guys catching all around me I couldn't hook anything and decided to change locations. Get to other spot and see fishing litter all over the place. After taking the time to pick up the trash I get into the water and while standing (not walking) I moved to get better footing and lost my balance and went into the water. Small lapse in concentration is all it took. I simply wasn't used to the boots yet but no harm no foul except my now dead water logged phone.
Know your gear and clear up after yourselves. Litter gives us all a bad name and a certain way to get access taken away for all of us. |

Re: Be Safe out there and clean up after yourselves
Glad you finally got out, sounds like you took a spill. If you see trash and garbage don't be afraid to post the location. There are many Watershed groups attached to just about every spit of water in NJ.
Hope you get out more in the coming months, weather is finally warm and the fish are waking up !! |
