Default The big one that didn't get away

While carping in the Millstone River yesterday evening during a thunderstorm, I turned around for a second, then my carp rod was gone from my rod holder. I saw it underwater moving away from me. I was able to grab it and land a 16 lb milt leaking common that swallowed my hook deeper than I could see. Looks like my current batch of homemade corn meal bait is a good one. Big carp bite well during the new moon.

WOW !! A Mitchell 300 and an Ugly Stick ! You could drive your car over that outfit and pick it and keep using it.
