I was curious, has anyone ever fished these waters ? i heard this area almost looks like the pine barrens. Any info on this lake or any ponds/lakes nearby would be appreciated

Re: unnamed private lake in Old Bridge
Lol if i accidentally get lost in the park near it and stumble across a body of water and happen to have my fishing pole and threw a couple of casts, does that make me a bad person? Lol

Re: unnamed private lake in Old Bridge
You'll be purposely escorted off the property if you accidentally wind up back there with a fishing rod. 24 HR surveillance.
More importantly, and just a touch of advice, you should be more cautious posting things like this with exact coordinates. It's generally frowned upon on this board and others...not bc of other members, but bc of the vast number of lurkers. Info such as this gets used and abused by non-members. Also, hoping "they report back" would magnify they pressure by said lurkers. It's a sure way to exhaust a place, if it were legal to fish it of course. Maybe next time PM a forum member who lives in that area if indicated in their profile content. Maybe they'll respond. Maybe they won't. There's always the best option of trying it out for yourself, crushing fish and keeping it all to yourself or posting with a semblance of anonymity. I know it's Jersey and everything gets pressured, but postings like this can often ruin smaller impoundments. Keep this in mind going forward and fish on pal... ...exits soapbox...

When you are looking at new places to try, visit http://njgin.state.nj.us/oit/gis/NJ_TaxListSearch/ to see who owns it. Usually gives you a good idea if you can access or not.
For example water company properties are usually reservoirs they don't want you in, or sewage treatment plants/outflows that you don't want you in.

Re: unnamed private lake in Old Bridge
Gr8 response!!!positive response!! i've tried to explain the same thing to members over the yrs and usually get a negative response...most times a very defensive response, like what jigman said, " its nj and EVERYTHING gets pressured" or i don't care how many ppl fish it , it does'nt mean they will be doing the same thing as me with the same results.... While all this is true, why attract more attention to any body of water than it already has????It's even gotten to the point where you have to be very careful of your backdrop in your report pictures or sometimes just not report at all.....Because certain species of certain perportions can really only come from a few select sweetwaters in the whole state...
Than again I'm not as smooth of a typer as jigman is.....I'm just more blunt and to the point...Remember, there are hundreds of members that can and WILL see ur posts but as mentioned there are thousands more lurkers that check sites like this one hourly fer their next bucket filling hotspot....its a sad thing but to the majority of lurkers our fishing resources throughout the state are not renewable..They see ALL bodies of water as a free meal -ie ( not in it for the enjoyment that most of us here get out of it)....10-15 yr old fish are taken without a second thought....A fish that old or at any age can be a reusable resource simply by returning it unharmed.....Agree or disagree there is my buck thirty five.... p.m. me if interested.....can't open ur link but i know most waters in that area well
