Default 2024 Fisherman Fishing Show - Thursday, September 26th

The Fisherman Magazine’s GIANT Fishing Tackle and Seminar show will once again be held at the Huntington Hilton Thursday, at 5 p.m., September 26th (598 Broadhollow Rd., Melville, NY).

The 2024 show will be covering inshore and offshore fishing as well as Northeast surfcasting.

Free with admission is a seat at eight exclusive seminars from Long Island’s greatest fishing authorities covering surf, offshore, light tackle, inshore and travel. Learn from the best anglers on our seminar schedule. Lineup includes Crazy Alberto Knie, Matt Broderick, Capt. John Paduano, Dave Anderson, Bill Wetzel, John Skinner, Comanche Surfcasting, Jenni Ackerman and John Raguso.

On the show floor you will come across over a hundred tables that will feature local shops, plug makers, tackle, Gulp, organizations, groups, clothing companies and national manufacturers. It’s a great place to pick up some new gear while also checking out what’s in the pipeline for 2025 release.

Doors open at 5 p.m. this year, an hour earlier than last year’s event and will run through 10 p.m. The first 600 attendees through the door will receive a goody bag filled with tackle, along with a raffle ticket that can win you some great prizes at the big raffle during the night; the earlier you arrive, the more variety you’ll find in your goody bag. (see The Fisherman Show ad in this issue to see what’s in or goody bags). The goody bag sponsors this year include: Mustad, Yo-Zuri, Berkley, Owner Hooks, Tin Man Teasers, Spro, Nautical School, Tsunami, Fishbites, Al Gags and more.

Tickets are $20 for adults; $15 for children 16 and under.
