Walleye and stuff!!!
Still on that NNJ Walleye bite 4 weekends in a row. Last weekend was a good one with alien Browns on Saturday and then Walleye Sunday funday as always. Biggest Brown went 18 inches over there on the Trout River. Boated 12 Eyes on that Sunday up to 23.5 inches, 10 keeps, 2 shorts and assorted slab Crappie and Whitey’s.
Black Walleye Friday, my favorite day all time to fish for old marble eyes. The numbers were there. Unfortunately only 1 was a keeper out of 25 or so fish. Oof, where are the big girls at? The biggest fish of the day was a 3 lb. Smallie. She did not want to come up out of 30 feet of water. Fun fight for sure. Saturday had me back on the Trout grounds. I haven’t caught a stocked Bow in a while so off to the Pequest I went. The fish are there in numbers if you want them. I had them on plugs, jigs and cheese. Some beautifully colored fish I must say. It’s still the most wonderful time of the year. Let’s go boys and girls! TIGHT LINEZ!!!
