Hey gang, we shaped up to go striped bass fishing this morning. The wind was still blowing 25 out of the NE. We did have a light crowd to go fishing and I told them that the wind was going to die out and the fishing would be good, but most of the guys preferred to leave and are coming back tomorrow. Fishing has been outstanding. I’m sure they would have bit today and will bite tomorrow. So, we’ll see you tomorrow morning (Thurs.) Also, some of our regular bass customers asked if we would do a bass trip on Thanksgiving Day. We will accommodate them and do a special Thanksgiving Day trip leaving at 6:30 a.m. returning at Noon. The fare is $70 for this trip. This way they can get back early enough to the family and still get their fishing fix in too. All the action has still been on jigs. Green tail jigs have been the ticket this week. We’re fishing every day for striped bass 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (weather permitting) until Jan. 1st 2025.
