Yesterday afternoon, we fished off the beach a little bit since it sounded like the last few days were tough on the beach. We ended up having excellent action with plenty of sea bass all night. There was a very good mix of both keepers and shorts and everyone was busy reeling fish in from the first drift to the last! A lot of the anglers had their limits with ease. We ended up with roughly 60 nice big keeper sea bass and 5 keeper fluke! Our pool winner was Mary Lembeck from Manchester, NJ with a sea bass.

Today, we went looking for the blues. We were only able to catch a handful of small three pounders. We stopped on readings along the bottom but the blues didn’t want to cooperate so we ended up catching some nice sea bass while chumming on the rocks.

Sailing daily for stripers and blues from 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and every afternoon for our Family Fun and Sunset Cruise trip for fluke and sea bass from 4:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. You may even catch a sighting of a whale or some porpoises and enjoy the fireworks in Point Pleasant on Thursday nights!
