weekend fishing
Central Jersey - 4 or 5 hours on each of the days this last weekend. Got a few crappie with one or two being in the 12" range. Nothing too big but fun on an ultralight in a kayak.
A perch also but no real size there...and of course quite a few snot rockets. One which actually tore off some line during the retrieve - angry and chunky made for a nice fight. A nice one just shy of 25". Felt good to bend the line this time of year.

There’s always something to catch here in NJ! Crappie are definitely a good time if you can find the right school thats hungry. Nice Slime Dart for sure! They have a lot of heart!!!
