One eyed, diseased Channel Cat! 7/9
This fish ate half a 12 inch Eel! Measured 26 inches and probably 6-7 lbs. It had so many Herpes and weird scars around it's mouth that I was scared to touch it! Lol, I proudly present the big catch of my weekend! Bleh! Ugliest Channel I've seen in a while. Still fought like hell though!!!

P.S. The Eel was still very much alive and kicking after I cut it in half and put it on an 8/0 hook! My rod was twitching pretty good before the drag on the baitrunner went zzzzzzzzzzzzz....... Zoom up to it's face in my pic! Kinda looks like the Eel is in, "Oh shit I'm about too get eaten" mode! You can see the whites of it's eyes!!!! I just thought it was funny when I zoomed up. And no, I'm not hallucinating or on acid......... LOL!!!! TIGHT LINEZ!!!!!

Cats and bullheads often are nasty looking and full of bloody scars, disfigurements, rotted off barbels etc.. Doesn't stop them from eating....

That's the classic abused hooker catfish. Each scar has a story and a price! Lol.
With all the cats you're getting these days I'm surprised you haven't started noodlin'!

too much flatHEAD and not enough catCONDOMS for that kitty! "The Eel was still very much alive and kicking after I cut it in half" used to leave a line in the lagoon overnight, usually had a nice fat eel in the morning. would give it to the guy next door. he'd take a cutting board, drive a framing nail thru it's head, and cleave it's neck. head would spin on the nail like one of those fidget spinners and the body would wiggle around for minutes! this is what that eel looks like- |

.
Those are two ugly fish. I think I'm going to start tripping looking at that freaked-out eel and the disfigured catfish. Quote:
