full moon fishin on the cong
i went out after walleyes at 8:00 pm and fished till 3:00am, the action was slow at first only managed to get two sunnies on a tiny torpedo. as the moon was on the rise i went to my next spot. as i got there the herring were not that active yet.around 11:00 i switched to a chug bug and caught a rock bass. with no love for the chug bug switched up to a spittin image in tennessee shad and it was game on. the first fish i got was a chunky 25" hybrid that pulled me around a bit before i got him in the canoe. second fish was what i was after a 21" walleye. the herring started doing the dance around 11:45 and i could hear the fish munchin on them. around 1:00am i got another brid this one was 23" then around 2:30 everything went quiet with no more action i went home at 3:15 the lake was peaceful last night not much traffic or wind to deal with.

Good action! Sounds like I should've stayed out a little later where I was yesterday! Those Hybrids are a trip!
