Default Walleye first’s & trout on the fly weekend report

Busy weekend for me with tons of fishing that got done.
Friday night kicked things off with some snakehead jedis Greg and don Zak out looking to put their first walleye in the boat. Started trolling then switched to plugs casting and found em in the darkness. Guys both can check that off their lists.

Saturday morning trip on the gambler with some of our own nj finest’.
Loaded the boat up with seabass and it was a good time by all who came.
Bait bite was good for awhile then those pesky conger eels started showing up switched to jig and teaser and was right back on em.

Saturday night had Ernie & his cousin frank out also looking for their firsts.
Guys kept casting and bite turned on later in the night with fish blowing up all around the boat and coming tight on a bunch of eyes and missing some birds along the way. Frank got a beast of a first walleye congrats frank!

Sunday morning I had Carter out in the streams for trout on the fly a late mother day present. We started at peaquest looking for a breeder but that didn’t happen. Switched to plan b hit the musky and had a stretch of fish rising and picked some casting wooly buggers and drys. Carter casted very well putting these flys right where they needed to go truly was awesome to watch.

Few prime summer hybrid dates available
Trout/laker trips going on now as well as walleye/hybrid night trips
