Last cast 8 lber
Went carping in 65 degree Carnegie Lake this evening on a warm, sunny day with a light south wind. Didn’t bring my 2 and 4 lb test outfits. Tried my brother John’s Shakespeare Alpha with braided line. Caught and released a bluegill with corn 🌽 bait. Will use a fluorocarbon leader tomorrow. Three fishermen from Brazil were in my spot when I arrived. After they caught 6 fish, then left, I threw out a can of corn for chum, then landed an 8 lb common carp with my homemade corn meal bait on 12 lb test line on my last cast of the day.
