Re: RFA -NJ Cod Safari on da Gambler
Decent day on the RFA trip. The Gambler as usual top notch service. Dale529. Thank you for the invite we had a blast. I only drank two beers all day. 😂😂

Re: RFA -NJ Cod Safari on da Gambler
Great trip, awesome peeps, terrific boat - with typical RFA results: a few Cod, more Pollack than Cod, numerous dogfish/bergalls. First stop was 35 miles East where we plucked a few. Steamed East another 20 miles East where we finished up our day in some deeper water. Jigs produced the larger fish including an impressive 25+ pound Pollack for Scrubby.
My crew put together quite a variety today - Cod, Pollack, Ling, one nice Sea Raven (JMurr Philly delicacy) and Grateful Dad managed to pull up a good sized LOBSTER Thanks again Dales for going the extra mile to make it happen, & thanks again Captain Bob for going the extra mileS for this great cause. Already looking fwd to the July RFA Flukathon

Sounds like a great time for sure. Glad you caught! How much of an issue were dogfish?
