Im IN and Ill be fishing open water for a while, Ill just find some ice to photoshop while Im standing in the boat lol..........

question on lakes like Greenwood or the Delaware, are we still going by open water rules that if they overlap its still considered NJ?

No, but you can float tipups in the open water as long as you swim out to them and enter and exit the water from the ice.

Sorry guys! I forgot to post that boundary waters such as the Delaware river and Greenwood lake are fair game! Give em a go if they get SAFE ICE!!!!

If I run along the ice/open water boundary and use my ice jigging rod to troll my silver surfer jigging fly does that count?

Chris,

Simple solution .... just claim that open water is your hole that was made with a help of couple of B-52s and bunker busters. Make sure that no one an I mean no one else fishes it since they did not put up work in creating it. I do not remember any regulations on how big or small that hole with open water suppose to be.

This is getting ridiculous. Ice fishing. It's an ice fishing contest. Drill a hole, set a trap or jerk your perch. Random ridiculous situations or supposed loop holes need not apply.
