Hopefully, Lee's Marina is open by the weekend. It was suppose to open Tuesday but as of today it's not. Concrete blocks and chains blocking the ramps...C'mon Morris County open your marina!!!!

We might have a problem, my buddy talked to lees county and they said on or around April 1st. The other problem is my 17ft will not be able to pop off my trailer at the state park! This sucks

Their website says 3/15 and I just called and the recording says April 1st!

Everyone needs to call and email the park commission Executive director to complain. We pay taxes and their salaries!

I just emailed the Morris County Park Commission management team. Lets see what the response is. I encourage others to do the same, especially Morris County Residents, be sure to state that you are one. See below for what I wrote.

I know the ramp at Flash Marina is open and can launch the bigger boats problem is that there are only a handful of parking spots for trucks with trailers. Prospect Point Boat Yard North might be an option as well. Does Barnes Brothers have a ramp and parking?

Mr. Helmer,

I would like to express my disappoint regarding the delayed opening of Lees Marina. The website states that it opens March 15, I called the Lee's number to confirm and the recording said that they are planning on opening around April 1st! The lake has been unfrozen for weeks at this point.

There is a large group of us planning a fishing get together for this Sunday 3/20. Is there anyway to open up a ramp for the day?

Thank you,
YOUR NAME - Morris County Resident

Do it at spruce for low water pike, maybe round valley? Or buy smaller boats next time lol

I'd be all over Spruce. Lots of free parking, and it's launchable. I've been launching off the beach next to the ramps.

Im guessing spruce and valley would be an issue for the guys with the big boats since its hp restricted. Not a whole lot of choice in lakes without hp restrictions.
