Lab, Thanks for putting this trip together. Takes a lot of effort to organize a trip this big and you did a bang up job at it. First class job. Food was amazing and thank you to everyone who brought something and to Tom (smokey Joe) for the absolutely amazing brisket and pulled pork. In fact I never seen so much food on a boat.

Catching my PB was highlight but the whole day was great.

I had a great time met some new faces and all around couldn't ask for better trip only thing is wish they chewed a little better tough picky bite had to work for it.

Looking forward to the MIMI next week.

what are we doing for food having smokey cater it or are we just all bringing some stuff to share. do we have a place to plug in a crock pot on the mimi

Oh yeah lab... as for you comment in the beginning during the odds was that enough for the guy from MO. LOL

Sorry didn't post last night, but I had to drive my ass back to PA and it was food and sleep when I got home.

Great trip, even if the fishing was a little slow. Spent Saturday on the Mimi and had NONE in the box all day. Sunday was pretty much the same. I donated a few ling, and cbass to the jmurr foundation, but couldn't find a keeper tog. I finally got the hit I was looking for LATE in the day and boxed a decent fish. At the time I didn't think it was good enough for the cut, but tagged it anyway (hey, I had the tag, why not use it). Ended up to be good enough for 4th place! Next weeks schedule is now in the calender, Mimi saturday AND sunday! I couldn't ask for a better way to spend my birthday next sunday!

Great fishin with a lot of old friends and some new!

PS: Mike, thanks again for welcoming me back with open arms! Great trip!

Congrats on your PB Dennis. Now you just have to do it again next week. Way to come out on top of a bunch of all stars.

Dennis SHOWED ME Nice Pig

(Pre Lim - You gotta put a REAL fish in the boat on the 18th)

Crock Pot yes
Jersey Joe catering no
Let's see how the week plays out as to whom is bringing what in food

There was so much food on the boat I'm surprised YOU had to eat when you went home?? (I had a bowl of cereal)

YO SFUSA - I'll double check the weigh in sheets when I get home. If you actually caught A fish......I'll put you on the list. Three guys at that size so I'll have to draw straws if someone calls out???

Thanks Eric, and to all who said congrats.

I want to have a repeat would be great to have a new PB in the finals.

I have a feeling there will be some better fish caught next week and hope I can do it again. If not it will still be a great trip and will definitely be entertaining.

Hell when I hooked that fish I thought Boston Pete messed with my drag like he did to scotty the day prior.

I didn't eat that much during the day i rather spend my time on the rail than in the galley...

I will either bring a 3 foot roast beef hoagie, roast beef in gravy in crock pot to make hot roast beef sandwiches, or meatballs You let me know.

Trust me I plan on putting a good fish in the boat next week, but if I its someone else that puts in the hours good for them.

Love um or Hate um, one thing that can not be argued is the the man (Lab)ochestrated a great show yesterday organizing this trip with some great people. Props all around to those who fished as well as to Captain Bobby and crew. Not only did we have a good time but we raised a nice size donation for a greate cause. See you next week.

PS

Let me know if I should bring the 100 qrt cooler with ice again for the drinks and to ice catch for those who have a long ride home next week.

Thanks LAB, Bobby Quinn & Crew, everyone who brought food/beverages and the sponsors. It was a fun trip and good to see a bunch of people from previous PUOSUs.
