I'm be coming with my buddy who is also a member on this site (Earl123) . We have a tandem fishing kayak and we also have a digital scale as well. Looking forward to meeting everyone and catching some pike!

how deep is the river usually? never fished it but my smallest boat is prob too big im thinkin?

Going downstream from the launch, the main channel is at least 8ft deep, with some spots getting as deep as 14ft. near the bridges from what I've seen on my depth finder. We regularly bring my buddies' 14ft/16ft'ers in there. The only issue you'd have would be trying to get into the backwaters, which are usually 2-3ft deep but get as low as 6" in some spots.

Depends on the day but even on the worst day Ive managed to make my way around easy on a 30 thrust... now I have a 45

I have a boat but Im choosing to bring the Kayak instead. Im gona be creeping in those back waters right behind Skunk!!! I have a canoe, I dont know how the hell i would get it up there, its pretty big, good for 2 guys.
