Flaws? Me?? Doubtful. Must have been some "contributory circumstance".

Tats got the nod (I'm still looking for a son-in-law and he fits that bill).
C'est la vie.

Joe,
Be careful what you wish for. I recently did a presentation at Monmouth Jail and picked up some shanks from the inmates that I may have to use if guys get to close. I am also thinking about hiring Mick now that his shoulder is healed and has been training on the heavy bag as a backup enforcer. I think getting shanked may be less painful then having to deal with Mick.

I think it's incumbent upon the governing bodies to invite some new blood into the competition each year. This provides an opportunity for newer, better entrants and ensures that the competition gets stronger year after year. Perhaps you need a qualifier the week before?

With that said, I offer you myself. I know it ain't fluke fishing and isn't on a kayak (though the Mimi ain't much larger), but with my new hat and old crocs, I think I have what it takes. Hopefully I will have my Bogan blackfish stick by then.

The key to my success will be the fact that I had my spine opened up last year and a metal plate put in to keep everything in place. The side effect is that I can't feel shyte in my hands, so standing in the bitter wind means nothing to me.

Lastly, it's the day after my birthday!

All in all, I'd give myself 1,000 to 1, but I've had a lucky year so i'll knock it down to 8 to 1.
