This is an incredible challenge. For a variety of reasons some folks are very skeptical of the dangers posed by this disease. There skepticism may result in behavior that is not in their or anyones best interest. Nevertheless attacking those perceptions may only tend to harden their views.

We really need to keep our discussions civil and respectful of everyones views if we are to get through this. Disagreements need to be responded to with kindness and facts.

We all need to carefully consider the information sources we choose to believe and to pay attention to the biases inherent in any information source.

I wish I could suggest an information source that is beyond reproach, unfortunately I don't know any we would all agree on.

Hopefully we will all make the best decisions we can.

This is turning into another climate change thread. Science versus "common sense". Aren't there any poker players among the common sense crowd? Do you always draw to an inside straight? Look at the numbers and the risk versus reward. Play it according to Hoyle.

I have to agree with a lot that's been said above..

A lot of people with varying reactions based on their own opinions and personal situations.. No right or wrong here and no need to bicker, spread false rumors or force your personal feelings on someone else. I'm guilty too.

Calmer heads prevail in a crisis and we all cope with this it in our own personal ways and come out better in the end if we all respect and support each other.

Closing this thread since it's getting hot in here.

See you all on the other side....
