fishing on a head boat is way different than on my own or a charter.
My boat I know exactly where I am on the piece, and even on a charter the amount of real estate is smaller , and your usually all on good bottom.
On a 85/100 footer your not always on as good a bottom as others,
hence where skating comes in LOL>
some of these guys have been togging a few times a week for the last two months, they are tuned up.
But they better make all those bites count .

Fat Eddie needs to be watched too.
Guy can catch a 30 # flat head in a trout pond at the sportmans show.
