Sorry to say Rangers did not look like a playoff contender at all last night.... right off the bat they're shooting from anywhere at a 3rd string goalie, like kids swatting at flies and can't get one precise shot to go in... same problem they've had all year.... no true shooters on the whole team. It was actually hard for me to watch this game with no one stepping up their season long average level of play.... our supposedly "Best Players" were all a let down once again.... let's see if this game will wake them up or if average is the best they got!!!

I remember there was a time when Nash would get a breakaway like Crosby last night and pretty much guaranteed a goal..... now that's only a memory

A WIN today is a MUST if Rangers plan on winning this round.... Girardi is out with "full" body injury, which is a good thing cause he was horrible in game 1... and maybe sitting M Staal out as a healthy scratch will wake him up cause he sucked too. If #s 61, 20 and 12 don't come and start scoring, this team is going nowhere.

And AV says he's sticking with his gameplan.... IS HE CRAZY? His gameplan didn't work and it hasn't worked too good this whole season, and if he can't see he needs to make some adjustments, he should be on the chopping block too. This is a coach who was still trying to switch up lines the last couple of weeks of the season to find combinations that work!!! Guess what?? they're still not WORKING!!! It's hard to believe this whole team is in a scoring drought game after game....

Well ....Let's see what happens today

Hopefully they'll figure it out and we'll have a happy post tomorrow

Thank god the Rangers heard me ranting

and put together a solid win.... still disappointed in Nash... just can't score like he used to.... Hank was SUPER and rest of team played their hearts out!!! THANK YOU GUYS!!!
Looking forward to Tuesday to see if they can keep it up....

....and lastly....is anyone else sick and tired of the offside/onside challenges and reviews? Jeez man, its ridiculous! I know the games are important but all these reviews take away from the game flow, not to mention the simple human element of officiating.
