I've seen it on other sites where someone has a problem with a sponsor but because they can't be named that same sponsor hurts additional INNOCENT customers. When it could have been stopped very quick and easy. But the dollar is greater than the truth.

He named himself. No more need to bash the site.

True, must respect that. Also as he stated it was not him but someone running his boat. Sure it won't happen again.

Gotta give the man credit for coming forward and owning up to the mistake. Keep it clean out there fellas! Be safe and enjoy yourselves as much as possible! Life is too short for nonsense!

While it is commendable he admitted it was his boat, let's be honest here. It sounds like this has been going on for quite a bit of time now. This was no isolated incident.

It really took this long to have a talk with the guy driving the boat? Only after it escalated to this on the most popular fishing forum in NJ, almost to the point where someone was going to name the boat anyway?

You deserve all the bashing you got on this thread, and then some. I am one of those small boaters out there who have to frequently deal with aholes running through fast with no regard for others.

Annnnnnd not even an apology to be found from this guy. Guess the next time my intern screws up your diagnosis and medication therapy management, I'll just say, he made a mistake, I had a talk with him. Done.

It takes a man to make a mistake it takes a bigger man to admit it. The owner of the operation is willing to address this problem with anybody who wants to address it with him. Why don't you guys leave it at that already go out fishing enjoy life. I think it's getting too boring with all the drama like this. This board is supposed to be about fishing we should try to keep it that way.

Saltfisherman and Teddys claw... First of all if you don't like the way I choose to run this site then feel free not to visit here anymore.

Further, you will notice that several people knew the name of the boat, including another sponsor and thought it better not to name it on a public forum, even though unlike the 2 of you, some of them were directly involved. This is called descretion and people with good judgment and character use it often.

The reason I don't like bashing on this site (sponsor or not) is because it can hurt people's business. On public forums such as ours, the accusers are anonymous which is not fair since the businesses are not and they should have the ability to face their accusers. And lastly, it turns into an emotionally charged lightening rod and everyone gets all worked up. While this sort of stuff can attract a lot more site visits, it's not the sort of traffic we want here.

My general rule is if you want to accuse and name the business here, then at least have the conviction to list your name and phone here as well. After all, if you are not willing to do that then chances are your keyboard muscles have won over descretion and good judgment.
