why didn't you just do this in the first place rather than posting this stuff here?

Glad you gave the Captain a chance to resolve it. Everyone makes mistakes. Also glad the Capt stepped up and did the right thing too. I love happy endings.

So the Captain is a stand up guy. Good!

That's another reason to go back to him and make referals to him. Reputation is a VERY BIG DEAL in businesses like this.

Good to hear that everything worked out but I would still find out when guy number 7 is going and hang as many bananas you could on the back of the boat the day of his trip.

Capt Allen is correct, when I was in this business I really appreciated a call if u had any issues !
Thank goodness back in 70's, 80's & 90's no internet ! This Capt was tarred & feathered before he could even defend his position ,I'm glad a resolution was found .
