As far as wise use of my money, I’d take rather spend $200 a day and catch nothing than saving money and being on land.

Who the hell are you to say that!!! Just because you have 3,000 posts means little when you brow beat people that feel differently from you. Not just about meat, but these regs are crazy.

You sound like a true sportsman.

Fortunately, I don’t fish for the table. I fish for the enjoyment. Bringing a fish or fish home is just a bonus. I’ve said it 100 times before & I’ll say it again—I’m just as happy catching 100+ short fluke in a day (which I have on many occasions) on light tackle as I am if I go out and catch only a single keeper. I don’t need to bring home fish to consider it a good or bad day. And honestly I feel sorry for anyone who truly does. That’s not why I started to fish.

But by all means if you need the ego boost saying that you caught your limit or desire the a sense of accomplishment by catching a limit of fluke-have at it & fly your Jolly Roger.
