Ask Da Perfesser what happened when he stuck that freakin eel in MY cooler.

Tommy-practice tying rigs, and dont swing unless you have a really good chew going, 'cause LAB has radar and will spot it in a heartbeat, even if he is on the opposite side of the boat, he has that 6th sense.

Based on the loop system.

No top shot needed

You can make the base leader as long as you want.

The base leader consist of a pre-made section of leader with dropper loop for sinker, Kiwi loop above sinker for the snelled hook/hooks. The other end to is a perfection loop.

Make a non slip loop in your braid 65-85 braid. 30-50lb base leader, snelled hook can be 50-80lb if you want.

Just loop on the leader handshake style. No knots, uni's ect. the rig will break off on the sinker, hook loop or more likely the loop connection. The loop in the braid remains.

Just loop another on.

Leif

The only problem I see is when the rig breaks in any of those locations a big tog might be on the hook. I NEVER want the rig to break anywhere BUT the sinker.
