I'm not from the area, but I WOULD BE WILLING TO HELP IN ANY WAY.
All in! I have dynamite I received from my uncle in WV! M-N-G is long overdue!!!

I'm sure Joey Z has some helmets we can borrow, I'd be down, I still have some troutin in me for a bit, but the salt is coming out heavy! I'd just set the guy up...get video and have proof... even if it is his property, it's not only wrong, but possibly lethal, authority must be notified, just saying on a forum isn't good enough, this could help somebody else as well, report could most likely be done on the computer even, it's worth a few minutes.

the house is set back. if you go to satellite image you will see a silver car infront of it. if you zoom out to aerial - you can see the rock wall behind the house. There is a public bike patch between the property and the river.

When I zoom into the house it look like either 87 or 187 on the house. but this is it.

There is a guy/nut job who likes to throw rocks at fisherman/in the water behind his house. The house is 87 Jeffer Court in Ridgewood. The river runs behind the house, but there is public access via the Ridgewood duck pond/dirt path. The area is between the park and linwood ave along a rock wall with a lot of boulders. I was there last year with my son and yelling at me and throwing rocks from his backyard. This year he was on the rock wall throwing stuff into the river. I asked him "is there a reason you are doing that?" "His response - I ****ing feel like it...you don't own the river". Explained to him I was trying to fish. Kept going on and was throwing sticks and rocks at my line. I continued up the river and he continued ot throw rocks at my line and where I was fishing. Was going to call the cops - but he was back in his house by the time I got back to the area. I was afraid he was going to try to push me in the river from the wall...
Tense situation that I walked away from.
He's nuts.
He's got black hair and gauges in his ears...
Be safe if you fish this area.
f that, never argue with crazy. if I was with my kid, I would have called the non emergency ph# for ridgewood pd asap and let them handle it, theres not much going on in ridgewood and im pretty sure the pd up there lives for calls like this. if I was alone, I cant say it would have went well.

When I click on the house, it comes up as 161 Jeffer Ct.

I checked the tax records to see who owns it and it looks like the house is a rental because the owner has a different address in Mahwah.

EDIT - Maybe call the homeowner and let him know about the strange behavior of the person renting his property.

I've fished here b4. It's usually the last spot I fish while traveling through the entire park. Went there yesterday for a bit and found some chubs and trout. Seen some suckers as well but none were Mr. Plugs. Packed up and observed the area while having a smoke and called it. Only saw suckers in the water. I'm kinda busy today...soo who's gonna be wetting a line?

Edit: edited 2 days later to shake my head.
